Heather Rainwater has been named to the Coshocton Foundation’s Distribution Committee, replacing Christy Gauerke, who recently completed a five-year term. Gauerke had served as committee chair the past two years.

Rainwater has been with McWane Ductile since 2006, holding various roles in the environmental and safety divisions before becoming the Operations Manager of Fabrication and Protecto 401 Lining. She earned her degree in chemical engineering, with honors, from Youngstown State University (YSU) in 2004, and she is on track to complete her MBA with a focus on leadership from YSU this December.

She participated in Leadership Coshocton County in 2012 and spent a decade as a member and officer of the Coshocton Rotary Club. She’s also been involved with Toastmasters. Rainwater has contributed her expertise to Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) as a Board member and officer for six years, and is currently serving as Vice Chair for the Port Authority Board. Actively engaged in volunteer work, she is involved with Junior Achievement and serves as a liaison for community affairs at McWane Ductile.

She and her husband, Gabe, have two young daughters, Aspen and Willow.
