- With more than $366,000 in requests, the Distribution Committee granted the following at its June 12, 2008, meeting
- $10,000 to the Coshocton Port Authority for a feasibility study at the site of the former General Electric plant
- $1,000 to the Coshocton C.A.R.E.S. college access program to a program to help prepare students for college entrance
- $15,000 to the Coshocton Alternative School for its 2008-2009 program year
- $1,500 to Ridgewood Elementary School for a kindergarten summer reading program
- $2,500 to the Coshocton County Health Department for training for public information in emergency situations
- $3,622 to the Coshocton Public Library for a microfilm reader-printer
- $4,000 to Ridgewood Recreation for ball diamonds at the Fresno and Plainfield school sites
