The Distribution Committee of the Coshocton Foundation had their second meeting of Fiscal Year 2025 recently and reviewed 30 grant applications totaling $519,430.54. The committee awarded 5 total and 9 partial grants totaling $101,657.90 to various community organizations. The grants awarded include:

  • $20,000 to the River View Local School District to assist with their comprehensive RVHS Auditorium Renovation Project
  • $11,614.90 to Bakersville Community Park to provide support in replacing all of the non-accessible, obsolete picnic tables used for community events
  • $10,000 to the Ridgewood Local School District to assist in the construction of a safe, inclusive and innovative play space at Ridgewood Elementary
  • $10,000 to the Pregnancy Center of Coshocton, Inc. to assist with their Renovation Project of previously vacant, donated space at their new location
  • $10,000to the Coshocton County District Library to provide assistance with their extensive Public Library Façade Repair Project
  • $7,200 to the Coshocton Boxing Club to provide support in the purchase of a Boxing Ring for the safety of their athletes
  • $6,890 to the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center to provide support with their plans to launch an initiative focused on personalized learning in Coshocton County’s high schools in order to promote long-term workforce readiness
  • $5,085 to the Residential Home for the Developmentally Disabled Inc. (RHDD) to provide support in the purchase and installation of a Ceiling Track Lift System for the Adult Day Services Program, improving safety for staff
  • $5,000 to Coshocton Christian Tabernacle, Inc. to provide assistance with the replacement and expansion of their current playground
  • $4,000 to the Foundation for the Fuse Network- Hopewell Industries to assist with the purchase and installation of new Computer Hardware
  • $3,868 to First Step FVIS, Inc. to provide or the purchase of a new hot water heater, clothes dryer and window replacement at Hope House Shelter
  • $3,000 to Blue Sky Voice and Opportunity to assist in furnishing a recovery house that will provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals transitioning from homelessness, incarceration or substance abuse
  • $3,000 to Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio to assist in providing Economic Empowerment for Coshocton County Students through JA Programs
  • $2,000 to Ridgewood Students Music Education Boosters Association, Inc. to assist in the much-needed Cooler Replacement Project at the Music Booster’s food stand at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds

The Coshocton Foundation’s Distribution Committee’s third and final meeting for Fiscal Year 2025 will be held in early September. The deadline for Unrestricted Grant Applications for the meeting will be August 15th.
