Christine (Christy) Gauerke of Coshocton has been elected to serve on the Distribution Committee of the Coshocton Foundation through a unanimous vote of the other four committee members.
Christy is succeeding Alice (Lisa) Gibson, who served from 2009 to 2018. Due to a recent change in the Foundation’s By- Laws to encourage more participation and input from community members, she will serve one, five-year term.
“The Trustees and I are very pleased that Christy is willing to become more deeply involved in the Coshocton Foundation by serving on the Distribution Committee”, stated the Foundation’s Executive Director, Bob Pell, noting that she and her husband Matt are long-time supporters of the Foundation. Pell went on to state that Christy’s community connections, perspective and skill set will be an asset to the committee, and that she is eager to contribute.
Christy, a native of Coshocton, works at Market Force, Inc., a Midwest-based manufacturer’s agency, in their main office located here in Coshocton. She is an active member of Sacred Heart Church, Junior Woman’s Club and a board member of the Coshocton Rotary Club.
Christy and Matt have three children, Samantha, Ayrton and Thomas and take delight in their two granddaughters.
The Coshocton Foundation was established in 1966 through the Will of Adolph Golden and has awarded millions of dollars in grants and scholarships to the community.
