More than 240 students participated in Camp Invention in all three school districts in Coshocton County this summer – thanks, in part, to support from these funds at the Coshocton Foundation:
– The Blessings Fund
– Edwin F. Mulligan Endowment Fund
– Simpson Family Donor Advised Fund
– Pierce Family Fund
– Ralph D. & Judy P. Wisenburg Fund
These local organizations also generously provided support:
– The Cleveland-Cliffs Foundation
– Coshocton Kiwanis Club
– Coshocton Rotary Club
– McWane Ductile
– The Montgomery Foundation
Because of this generous support, camp cost each child just $40.
For kids in grades K-6, Camp Invention introduces STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) concepts as young innovators build confidence and form friendships. Kids team up to take on exciting real-world challenges, dive into open-ended learning adventures and expand their creativity.
Camp Invention was held in 2024 at:
* River View Elementary School – June 17 – 21
* Coshocton Elementary School – June 24 – 28
* Ridgewood Middle School – July 8 – 12
